The first pyramid in Europe discovered in the heart of Bosnia
An ancient pyramid similar dimensions to the Egyptian pyramids was discovered in the heart of Bosnia, near the city Visoko 20 miles north of Sarajevo. There were no evidences about pyramids in Europe and no clues about ancient civilizations that ever attempted to build one.
The pyramid was discovered by Semir Osmanagic, Bosnian archeologic who spent 15 years on researches on pyramids in Americas, Asia and Africa and who wrote several books on this subject, says he is quite sure that he found the first pyramid in Europe. He believes that this will change the world of archeology. The artefact is said to be at least 10000 years old.
The newspaper "Dnevni Avaz" says:
"The pyramid is 100 metres high and there is evidence that it contains rooms and a monumental causeway … The plateau is built of stone blocks, which indicates the presence at the time of a highly developed civilisation,” the daily explains.
“Archaeological excavations near the surface have uncovered a part of a wall and fragments of steps,” it reveals.
It could be the third in size pyramid in the world!
Everything started when in April 2005 Osmanagic went to see the hill with the director of the local museum. So when he went up the hill he saw another hill and this reminded him of Latin America. With the geologist Nadja Nukic they found 15 anomalies suggesting that some parts of the hill were handmade. They found unnatural mixture of gravel, called 'bad concrete', used to form blocks.
Osmanagic believes the hill was shaped by the Illyrian people, who inhabited the Balkan peninsula long before Slavic tribes conquered it around A.D. 600. Little is known about the Illyrians, but Osmanagic thinks they were more sophisticated than many experts have suggested.
Osmanagic thinks he will solve the Bosnian Pyramid in the next five years but also prove the existence of another pyramid under the neighbouring hill Kriz.
Group of scientists of UNESCO are now checking the hypothesis of Osmanagic.
Is history changing? Are the pyramids in Egypt the biggest in size? Were there ancient civilizations able to build such huge building in Europe? We will just have to wait and see...

There's been a great deal said about this in slightly non-mainstream media but I and many other are still waiting for some sort of more official confirmation.
